Our prices are per person and based upon two people sharing a room (sorry, we do not offer discounts for single walkers - single room accommodation is hard to find). You can add rest days at any of the stops. For each extra overnight stay at a stop, add £80 to the cost.
Itinerary
This a short, relaxed walking break starting at Amberley, staying overnight in the charming, historic town of Steyning, and finishing at Shoreham By Sea where you can stay the night, or if you prefer, catch a train into Brigton and stay there. A typical itinerary might be as follows:
Day One - Arrive in Arundel or Amberley late morning and stay in overnight accommodation in Amberley. The afternoon is free for you to explore the beautiful Arun Valley.
Day Two - Walk form Amberley to Steyning (approx. 6 miles)along the beautiful South Downs Way route. Stay overnight in Steyning. Enjoy a drink and a meal in one of the many pubs and resturants.
Day Three - Walk from Steyning to Shoreham By Sea (approx. 6 miles)along the banks of the Adur River. After your walk, and maybe refreshments in a pub, we will transfer you and your luggage to Shoreham-by-Sea railway station for your journey home.
